Four Simple Things #12

What we are eating: Sharing Gratitude Kombucha

I love kombucha and this is my very favorite kind right now. Carrot, ginger, turmeric…I just can’t get enough of it. This type of fermented drink is great for keeping a healthy, balanced gut.

What we are playing: The recorder

I like to buy “real things” in lieu of toys when possible. This is the best-worst “real thing” I have ever bought my toddler. He absolutely loves it. It is so loud. But who doesn’t like to bust out some Hot Cross Buns on occasion?

What I am wearing: Serenity Wrap Bracelet

I try to buy from socially conscious companies when possible–which is why Ilove Noon Day. They employ thousands of artisans around the world to make goods by hand. They are also having a birthday and doing a BOGO offer right now.

What I am pondering: Gift-free Birthday Parties for Toddlers

Our toddler is turning 3 next month and we will be having his first little party. What are your thoughts on doing gifts vs. no gifts for kid birthday parties?

Wishing you the happiest, laziest Sunday (my favorite kind).
